DISTRICT 39
West Virginia’s House of Delegates now uses single-member districts, which means Mercer County is divided among multiple House districts instead of voting countywide for several delegates. Ronnie Oakley is running to represent House District 39, so this page is here to help residents better understand the district and where it fits within Mercer County.
What Is House District 39?
House District 39 is one of West Virginia’s 100 single-member House of Delegates districts. It is located in Mercer County, but it does not include every voter in the county. That distinction matters because Mercer County is now divided among multiple House districts, and each district elects its own delegate to represent the people who live within its boundaries.
